Kindergarten
I have been a member of BGBC for thirteen years. I am married and have three children who attend BGBS. I was saved at the age of twenty-one while attending college to receive my degree in elementary education. Once graduating college I had the opportunity to teach kindergarten at a local elementary school. After a few years of teaching in the public school system I felt the Lord leading me in a new direction. In 2011 I had the opportunity to start my teaching career at BGBS. I am so thankful for the Lord’s guidance in my life and the opportunities I have had to serve him at BGBS.

My mother led me to Christ in 1974 after I heard a message on hell by my pastor in Franklin, IN. I thank God He saved me at such a young age and allowed me to be raised in a Christian home.

I was saved around five years old when I had watched my mother use the "wordless book" with other children to explain the gospel story. I was under conviction and asked her to read it to me. I remember sitting on my bunk bed and asking the Lord to save me. I surrendered my life to full-time service at a teen camp the one time that I was able to attend. I graduated from high school in 1992 and attended Hyles-Anderson college, where Cecily and I met and were married. We moved to Asheboro, NC in March 2001 to attend and work at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church. We are very grateful for the privilege and opportunity to be a part of the lives of the young people here at Bailey's Grove.

I received assurance of salvation at the age of twelve. When I was fourteen, I told God I would do whatever He wanted me to do. After Bible college, God very clearly directed me here to BGBS.

I was saved when I was almost five years old. My dad led me to the Lord. I surrendered to be a missionary when I was six years old and then recommitted my life to God when I was fourteen years old.

I grew up in a Christian home. I got saved at the age of five. In seventh grade, I really began to crave the things of the Lord and rededicated my life to Him on Sunday at the altar. From that time, I began to be more faithful in my Bible reading, praying, and giving. The Lord led Brandon and I to Bailey’s Grove the first Sunday in March of 2002 and we have been serving and growing in the Lord here ever since. I am so blessed to be able to serve in this ministry and that our daughter has been able to grow up at Bailey’s Grove.

Bible
At the age of five Mrs. Shook and her father received Christ as Saviour during a revival in Louisville, KY. After high school the Lord led her to Hyles-Anderson College where she fully surrendered to God's will in service to Him. There she met and married her husband, Pastor Jon Shook. Following their graduation the Lord led them to Bailey’s Grove Baptist Church where they have now served since 1995. Together they fasted and prayed for years that the Lord might allow Bailey’s Grove Baptist School to be established. It has been her pleasure to teach the Teen Girls Bible Class since the school's beginning.
